In addition to the regular services there are a number of special events held at the church throughout the year. Details will be published on the onechurch4parishes.co.uk page.

The Church at Watford (Grade I listed) is the oldest building standing in the village. It's cornerstone was laid on the 1st of January 1300 and it was built during the early 14th and 15th centuries. 

Whilst not quite as old as the church there are a number of other historically interesting buildings in the village.

Restoration....

Fundraising continues to recover costs for repairs to the roof and drainage systems, as well as ongoing maintenance. We are also indebted to the Heritage Lottery Fund and its players for their ongoing support.

The extensive work to the roof has been completed after the lead thefts in 2015 and the church fully reopened in November 2019.
